January 2009. Hey, its another beautiful day in Paradise. Sailing around in front of downtown Honolulu with Princess Taiping and Hokulea, and of course ORISHA a Macgregor 65. Moored rafted off Princess Taiping this week at Ala Wai Harbor, made friends with crew members Hugh Morrow (American), Captain Nelson Liu and Angela Chao (Taiwanese) and others aboard. Learned much about Chinese Junks and their dangerous voyage from Taiwan. See pics of these historic and authentic sailing craft together in a multicultural meeting and voyage. Also enjoying sharing mornings with pancakes they make for breakfast.
